We were incorporated in February 1971 by representatives of the (then) Ministry of Social Services, the Burnaby School District Adult Continuing Education Department, the Ministry of Health Prevention Services (Community Health Nursing), Burnaby Psychiatric Services, the Burnaby Business Community and Burnaby residents.

Providing a wide variety of group education, counseling and support programs, the agency's mission is

"To provide services and opportunities delivered by caring and trusted professionals to nurture people, families and communities, in all their diversity, to reach their full potential”

Congratulations to Jeanne Fike, Executive Director and her amazing team of loving and caring people.  The evening of this memorial event was supported by many local businesses and members of the community. What a privilege it was for Candace to be invited to be the key note speaker for this inaugural event! It was an honor for her to witness these caring mentors, share their time/life with these very brave and courageous new immigrant women who will offer much to our country!
